In 1996 British Airways paved the way in luxury air travel by inventing the world’s first ever flat-bed seat, which the majority of the world’s airlines have since adopted. In recent years British Airways have seemed to lose touch with the evolution of luxury air travel by just simply tweaking their iconic, yet ageing ying-yang Club World seat. Asian and Middle-Eastern carriers have quickly overtaken BA and produced some fantastic seats and suites for their business class, such as the fantastic Qatar Airways Q Suites which were launched at ITB in Germany in 2017. However, after many years British Airways have finally launched a worthy business class competitor, the British Airways Club World Suite.
British Airways Club World Suite
Many thought that British Airways’ long awaited recent Club World release would be a similar staggered layout to that of Aer Lingus and Iberia, but they have gone a few steps beyond that. Their new layout is a fantastic Super Diamond design, with the addition of a privacy door which some might argue is a step ahead of their current First suites.
This incredible addition to British Airways is set to debut in October with the release of their brand new Airbus A350-1000. It will initially fly once a day to Dubai from October 1st, and Toronto on October 8th. All new A350s will sport this fantastic new cabin, and shortly after all other long haul aircraft, apart from the 747 which is set for retirement, will be fitted with this fantastic ground-breaking cabin.
As mentioned above, flights to Dubai are set to start on October 1st, and Toronto on October 8th, and if you book before March 26th you can take advantage of the British Airways current luxury sale and get yourself a return fare for as low as £1,200 from the UK to Toronto. However if you don’t want to wait that long British Airways will be running services to Madrid over the summer for crew training, a fantastic opportunity to sample this fantastic new seat for as little as £140 one way between London and Madrid.
If you want to take advantage of the current British Airways luxury flight sale you will need to act fast as these deals end at midnight on Tuesday 26th March. As well as the great prices to Toronto on the new British Airways Club World Suites, you can still find some amazing deals deals in Club World, Club Europe and First. Here are some of the best deals which I have found…
